It is addicting! So addicting that I buy shit before I'm even ready for it. I've had this damn floraflex and 6 big rockwool cubes sitting around for a month, and I'm just now getting it going this coming week. I also just ordered a 4x8 tent to replace my 5x5, I think my 3 quantum boards will fit much better and more naturally in there

In semi-related news, I switched back to tap water. My ro system sprung a leak so I just said fuck it. Ph issues started before this tho. My tap water isn't bad (approx. 120 ppm) but i always liked my ro because it had a uv light on it to kill the nasties. But screw it, I'm gonna see how the tap does...

I have had decent luck switching back to gh3 on a couple plants tho. I had some leftover from a couple grows ago. It hasn't been long but numbers look good. Funny, I switched from that cuz it gave me ph issues! 😂🤣 I'll bet a lot of my issues so far as a grower is because I don't really know what the fuck I'm doing and am still trying to figure all this hydro shit out😂🤣

You and me both man lol. I think this is where science meets art. We can experiment and tinker to optimize but we can't lose sight of the creative part of our craft which is just as important.

LMK how the tap goes. My water is 250 and high 7 ph. I tried running just tap back in August for veg and it took a SHITLOAD of ph down to get it to drop. Not to mention the ASSLOAD that I needed to add to maintain it appropriate levels. Noticed the difference instantly going Back to RO. I had to toss out a whole 25 gal res worth of feed water because I estimated the amount of ph based on the tap water and it dropped the ph of the ro and nutes into the 3's 😣 added silica but after the first 2 applications it barely increased the ph and at that point I was like fuck this crazy feed water made of 50% ph down and silica 😂

What's up bro? Yup still all hydro, switched over to supernatural, and experimenting with not fucking with pH at all on a couple plants. Trying not to break 1000 ppm anymore (unless absolutely necessary) as bad things always tend to happen when I do that😂

That whole album is a masterpiece, ESPECIALLY this song.
After the lyrics "...dying of cancer..." And starting around 3:40 listen to the solo. The melody, especially the guitar, is telling a very emotionally driven story. Starts very grim and sad, rolls into self reflection, reasoning, acceptance, then the will to move on...before going on to the remainder of the song. It's what I got from it over the years, better to explain in person with the song playing.

I know EXACTLY what you're talking about. David gilmour is one of the few who doesn't need a lot of notes but makes his guitar talk, and cry...
