Your comparing apples to oranges. In this case it would be buying a car based on the photo and receiving a totally different car when you go to pick it up.
Its almost impossible to sell anything without photos. Most breeders who are on a tight release schedule will post pictures of the mother plants in full flower. Its a common practice. It gives the consumer an idea of what to expect. Later, The breeders will change out the photos to more authentic ones if the strain proves to be desirable.
The photoshop stuff bugs me, I know a lot of people use filters when they take photos these days but that borders deception IMO. That's for any and all seedbank / Breeders because they are all starting to do it. Its the Kardashian effect lol
