The Dusted Bud herms I had weren't "grower error". Fuckin' guy ADMITTED his shit herms...yet...he still sells em,

wasn't singling anyone out, bro, @quiescent who sent em said the same thing. And they were freebies. I was just making a generalization per the luck of others and mine, I guess. Im more proud of not finding any herms on Rado's TK91 fems with all those reports more than anything. But I know you had bad luck with em, I just haven't yet, that's all I meant. And to be clear, I was really directing at dakine dude at the other spot who has had multiple herm probs, like chuncky, in the past for some reason or other, and they are the first one to hollar breeders fault. But I surely didn't mean for you to take that wrong.

What is the error you presume by these growers? Or you can tell me how to avoid the balls I found on ECSD, BZilla, Dubstep phenos? I've also had dubsteps and BZ's without nuts, those I keep. I am keeping the ECSD also at this point, nuts or no, until I get a newer mom.
I'm not complaining, it doesn't take all that long to clean up and only the single dubtsep pheno was seeded bud in the end. Still, it made decent weed
But making "balls" a grower issue is not correct.
stress of some sort, light leaks, many contributing factors, sensitive plants, etc. I have had some balls, on lowers that when plucked, never returned, and were sterile and we are talking one or two out of 5-6 strains. Just my personal exp, been growin since 88. 98 percent of the time, its an unknown or found trouble in the environment.

Most of the time balls only show up on seed plants. I see clowns over on riu posting plants without alternating nodes with balls on em.
Flower clones from sexually mature parts of the seed plants. This isn't some new thing, I had a VHS that taught you how to grow that told you not to flower seed plants. I dunno where this info got lost down the line but I try telling people that all the time.
"That doesn't work for me and how I grow." Have fun with your balls.
This isn't rocket science. Follow the rules, get good results. Fuck off and do whatever you want, get varied results.

Herms are caused by environment 90+% of the time. Some strains are more likely to swap gender than others under stress, and some just won’t no matter how much you stress them. This is actually a science thing, the likeliness of getting a true hermaphrodite is low as shit, like 1:10000 true for environmentally cause herms.
Not “grower error” per say, but absolutely a problem in the environment, and could be avoided in a more optimal environment for that particular plant/strain.

I was always under the impression that balls are usually genetic, but nanners on the other hand are often caused by grower (environmental) error. I never get nanners, but I get balls sometimes when growing from seed. Never come back when I clone them.

Reg seedling that shows both pistils and balls at flip = herm. Never seen one myself but I'm a newb.
Fem seed that makes balls. Is that a genetic herm or a bad fem-job? Both? Lots of variables besides the genetics that could make them throw balls early and it not be caused by stress. Maybe your CS was trash and you made regs? Neither of these seem like they would be stress or environment related.
Late nanners I think have always been my fault, but I have read that some strains are more prone to them than others.
Like I said - lots of variables for you to initially point fingers.

I ran a full pack of ADUB.....8 seeds, and one got a few lower nanners on it a few weeks into flower. She was right in the middle of my tent full of 15 other plants. Healthy as fuck. I then used those lowers to rub on my Sour Goji bud. I now have 2 of those offspring in veg @ 3 weeks in.

Are you talking about shoreline? HE DOES NOT HAVE THE SAME PUNCH I GOT. No clue where he got his but are not the same. The only cuts I ever got from him was 91 chem , ecsd and a busted ass katsu bubba. I tossed them all. The only 2 people with my cut are dustjesus and the dude in oregan I got it from who has been missing in action for like 2 years now. Dude had a meltdown and disappeared.

On rollitup they had me confused with green256 in saying i got cuts and was selling them. So their are a lot of names that are similiar but not the same person.
