I've been away for a while because I relocated from MA back to my home state of VT - thank you COVID19.

The intent of this journal is to document my grows and share learnings both good and bad.

Here is a bit more about what we're working with:
tent: Mars Hydro 8' x 8' x 7'
lights: HLG 500 V2, HLG 550 Rspec, CMH 330w (used on occasion)
medium: coco coir
nutrients: dynagrow (for now) + mammoth p
water: filtered well water; have RO but not installed yet

I've experimented with a few forms of hydro and always come back to the drain-to-waste method. I've been hand watering the current grow, but will set up a dripper system for the next run. Automated drip systems have always delivered bigger yields from my experience.

The house I bought came with a perfect space to setup a grow. It’s a secure 18’ x 12’ room, in the basement, adjacent the utility room, has a window and exhaust piping from an old Jenn-Air cooktop. We moved into the house in early October and my next growing chapter started 6 weeks later... although the tent just got setup yesterday.

Fast forward a couple months and here are the 4 small plants from the very center of the picture above.

Strain is alien rift by ocean grown genetics. Grown from seed @ 12:12 photoperiod started 12-24-2020. Here’s a closer look
