That escalated quickly

Gonna start a grow journal because I am definitely going full speed ahead with this hobby.

Here is my first plant. It’s an emerald jack fem seed from Emerald Triangle seeds I got form the now defunct GYO seed bank. Day 50 of 12/126F272370-3B31-4A27-B6BD-1D89EF737D01.jpeg1EA3DAF2-4CEF-4291-BD7F-6D6522944006.jpeg5F1544C5-AB15-4D24-B21F-3C7490AEB8C5.jpeg

Definitely slowed down the last few days in terms of producing new pistils. I think it will be ready to harvest in 2-3 weeks. Just ordered a jewelers loupe so I can get a good look at the trichomes.

In the meantime I’ve started my second round in a veg tent

10/10 have germinated. Planted 5 Mr Clean reg seeds from Exotic genetics, 3 Hood Candyz fem seeds from Solfire, and 2 Spirit Quest reg seeds from Canuk. Planted them directly in 1 gallon pots with Fox Farm Happy Frog Soil. All 10 broke the soil between 5 and 6 days.

This is my first time growing multiple plants and strains so I’m excited to observe the differences between strains and different phenos of the same strain. Will also be my first time sexing plants and taking clones so should be a learning experience.

Day 56 of flower on the Emerald Jack

Hoping the buds fatten up in the next week or two, looks like it will be a bitch to trim. A lot of leaves are tacoing, I think I let it grow too close to the light. Wasn’t prepared for the stretch but I’ll do better on the next run.

Seedlings are slowly coming along in the veg tent. All 10 broke the soil 9-10 days ago. Hood Candyz #1 and Mr. Clean #5 are the healthiest looking so far. Hood Candyz is feminized so glad to see one of those looking strong early.

Got some foxtailing happening on the tallest cola that sits directly under the light

I’m on day 60 of flower. Strain calls for 63-70 but I’m not seeing any amber trichs yet. I can’t raise the light any higher and the stem is too stiff to bend down again. Being so late in flower is this a big problem? Is there anything else I can do or should I just let it finish up?

I’m also a little concerned that is a nanner starting to grow directly to the left of the part that is foxtailing. I’ll keep any eye on it but it just looks weird to me, a slightly lighter green than what is growing around it.

She turned real brown and crispy the past few days. Not sure if I flushed too early or ran into other issues at the end. Buds look nice though!

Was a great feeling harvesting her and getting her hung up. Now on to stressing about my first dry and cure. Meanwhile I moved the vegging plants to the big tent.
