IM finally gonna try some hydro! Here is the setup
Bare root HB genetics mature pheno clones.

4x8 space holding the
(2)3x3 botanicare OD trays.

Cotton batting laid in bottom for rooting.

While panda paper seals the
Top.
Plants are placed bare root only into the tray and supported through the panda paper with paper or nylon cones.

Floraflex will be feeding each plant and a scrog will support the plants as they race in hydro in 12/12 veg and flower.
When they are done ..... we are done

Drain filter from grow trays back to Rez before lights out.
Nutrients :GH 3part + Gh additives
GH Flower formula feed schedule
Ph 5.6 - 5.9
Ppm swing range 150 to 345ppm
Temp 74
(1) CO2 bag
(2) 300w T5 6lamp fixtures

tore down the clone & veg grow rack.
Rebuilt in flower room w 70 gal Rez .

I also completed the 4th pesticide treatment using the 3rd agent
(The Green wash)

I applied top bottom side to side
Seems more like a preventative strength type than the first treatment

Not a plant untouched top of pots wooden racks and pans all got the treatment tonight.
I will have list by name for each tray.
As the clones get laid out.
I think Nylon shuttlecocks will work best free of growth or discoloring.

The turbokloner 144 has a fan on 24/7 pulling 76-78 degree air.
All water in cloner is distilled.

I got at least 16 large clones to remove from the cloner to the
3x3.


the panda paper is white side up covers the roots zone locking in humidity and darkness, while reflecting light above.
The room is sealed mini split heat pump keeps the humidity and temp
74-75.
The 3x3 water is comes from a 300kd stealth water filter system
With UV filter attached. As well I use
(150 ml) UC roots to each Rez as preventive before nutrients are put into solution. Having (2) botanicare 70 gal Rez in the room is a big help as once the body of water is down in
74 range it keeps the room consistent. 1 Rez on each side of the room as well.

Oh no ...I’m just combining all the goodness to condense down into a HB 35 strain sea of green.... in a (4x8) space.
You see right now in a 13x19 room
I have 35 strains of HB goodness
Taking up (3 ) 4x8 mobiles.....
After this flowering run is completed. Being with clones now
Condenses all of that ....into a single (4x8) mobile.


Whatever the flower production it is will be what it is. You can clone clone clone till the cows come home
Yet doing this from clones.....
I can run in flower all year every month.
The veg occurs in the cloner over at least 18 days after taking cuts or they can stay longer it’s all hydro front to back.
I would say having the turbokloner
Becomes a clone fast veg solution.
Especially with Uncle HB genetics.
He nailed it on the UV light upgrade is a solid must for hydro root protection.
Roots love roots from the looks of
The bottom of the turbokloner . So if It becomes a huge pan of root spaghetti of HB 35 strain goodness well that makes me happy .
Panda paper gives the pan full of roots a total mediumless perfect environment except for the cotton
Battening.
Using cones nylon cones is kinda
Pioneering I guess I just need a alternative to net pots which are to big and heavy. Cones could be that solution. I do have a pioneer project In the fall. (Should the cones not work)
So for now I’m hoping my first step into full hydro has a well outcome as the turbokloner did...

How will the water get through the panda paper?

I needed to presoak the batting so I could check for leaks .. no leaks drain works
Stretch &secure panda paper across top of pan (like a drum )
Then cut small ( X ) opening for the cone cups

With paper cone cups use 2or3 together, cut off tip together,
Cut cone end together by 4 cuts.

This allows opening for the uncut root mass to be placed through the panda paper and leave roots resting upon batting inside the pan.
Cutopen shuttlecocks for liners of cups and to holder flora flex 2-5 ring drippers

Plenty of room for full growth of plant no choking

Just pulled these from the turbokloner

Now those long bare roots have a new home ready

transferring to 4x8 floraflex feed ring 3x3tray batting already presoaked

They are dropping in but I need the
Scrogg to support them up today

Roots laying in the pan on the batting

Floraflex rings are next in the cups.
I can see a long feed time 3x daily
Keeping the root basin dark lots of humidity and moist.

Floraflex rings needs flora flex lid supports.

This will hold for now I am going to either order 6” square lid
Or just order the flora flex pots with lids which give me 9” centers. Still no dirt other than cotton batting in the bottom like in the tray.

My feed timer is for 10 min on
Fills pan through the 2.5 feeders 1/2 way . Takes 15-20 to drain. 3 feedings drain back to the Rez.
3 hours apart every day.

It has become clear that I must move the large clones even if they are the same strain into the 3x3 to allow for a audit of the small strains.
I mean the space gorilla clones are like redwoods however I need to account now for the smaller strains
To ensure I have good mother clones. If not! This weekend thru the next week will be my last chance to take clones. I mean I could just take all new premium big clones from all the plants again and reset the turbokloner 144 but for only 1 clone for 35 strains. W
When I audit the turbokloner I will
Decide then. Everything large will finish with flower 12/12 lights.

All through veg it been a bonsai. Not even a week into flower and it’s a 3 ft Christmas tree have not ran my filter yet but look forward to the day!

I will be filling out this pan getting ready to setup the other 3x3 just to the right same way. The I’ll have 35 HB strains in (4x8)
I’ list the ability to take clean clones these ladies have bristled their bud points priskles are everywhere to be seen.
