Looking great in here! Them flowers look marvelous.
Thanks so much my man!!Looking great in here! Them flowers look marvelous.
I've never been very good at it.I was hoping someone could give me some tips/pointers on revegging a girl after flower. I really want to hold onto these Watermelon genetics, as the guy I got it from asked for it back and it’s just a lovely plant!
Here is a shot of her underside, I’d have to go up pretty high to keep any leaf material:

I know @H.A.F. and @Old ST1R successfully revegged, don’t know if you guys have any advice but any help would be really appreciated! Thanks so much!
I did but I went like 50% and the 50% that made it were all the ones I didn’t want to hold onto LOL that’s how she works eh?I've never been very good at it.
Consider taking clones of everything before bloom. You can always toss clones.
Ok, thanks so much dude! Finding the lowest buds to keep will be the hardest part I guess, dang lollipops haha! All you gotta do is leave a few buds on the plant at harvest, cut the roots back, put it in some fresh dirt, give it some veg nutes and stick it in your veg tent. Prolly take a few months but should come back.
I veg at 18/6 and that worked for me. I like the plants to be able to rest a bit.Ok, thanks so much dude! Finding the lowest buds to keep will be the hardest part I guess, dang lollipops haha!
Do you recommend 24h light?
Thanks!!! I’m going to rock this baby back to life so gently!I veg at 18/6 and that worked for me. I like the plants to be able to rest a bit.
Not entirely accurate. I have taken clones from flowering plants, which then create their own roots and re-veg.I know @H.A.F. and @Old ST1R successfully revegged,
Sorry I had you mixed up with old st1r again.. whoops! I think it’s the shade of your profile photo and I just glance and don’t really record who exactly it was. LolNot entirely accurate. I have taken clones from flowering plants, which then create their own roots and re-veg.
I think this is good up until about week 4-5 of flower, then get's iffy on success rate. 3 weeks and under is pretty safe to get a good % to root.
I have never re-vegged a harvested plant through.
I am running regs mostly, and some packs only have 5-6 seeds. I am only using the flower-clone thing as a hedge against only getting one or two females from a pack. I want to get a decent stash from each run, but then I'm done with it. No long-term moms or anything like that.Sorry I had you mixed up with old st1r again.. whoops! Right, that makes sense. I am running some single beans and last beans this next run so I really have to nail the clones this round. I am going to try the classic cubes in a dome, solo cups with perlite on bottom and a cube cut in quarters for 4 clones each cup, and hopefully a pump and nozzles for my little bubbler I tried to make last run. SOMEONE has to make it!! HahaI am running regs mostly, and some packs only have 5-6 seeds. I am only using the flower-clone thing as a hedge against only getting one or two females from a pack. I took 4 clones from each plant, just hoping for one good one - then planning to grow out one just because since I got plenty of girls from this pack.
I want to measure out the time-frame so I know what to expect when I "need" to have the flower clones do well. So far it's about 10 days to get roots
I had a single Northern Lights fem seed, and learned about the flower-clones on her. I filled a closet and still have a half gallon left from last summer.Right, that makes sense. Right on!!! NL is coming back aroundI had a single Northern Lights fem seed, and learned about the flower-clones on her. I filled a closet and still have a half gallon left from last summer.
Very similar to what i do.I leave the plant in its original pot when revegging. I put it under 100 watts of led daylight bulbs 24/7 for 2 weeks then 18/6 until it starts forming new branches. I use a very light veg only feed and it usually takes around 30 days before new shoots form. After the new shoots form I stick her under 400 watt of MH for another 30 days. I can usually take clones after that
I'm kinda nervous at the moment.Very similar to what i do.
I've reveged a couple dozen plants in a very similar way.
I got a some pics i could look up.
But @Hotwired has it just right.
Only difference is i keep mine under 24 hour lighting (some t-5 or under a ceramic 315 kinda high)
Until they start throwing shoots like crazy & then you can pretty much do what you want.
I revege plants pretty regular & usually start them under t5's until they throw shoots, then i throw them under a 315 until mad clones are ready.
@Hotwired knows what's up on the reveg.
Thank you for the tips! I think I need to get it down back into a smaller pot for space but I’m thinking I’ll try the 24/0 lightingVery similar to what i do.
