Do you have success with this if you leave no leaf matter remaining? The one I want to do is lollipopped pretty high and was hoping to chop her down into a tiny little thing and plop it in a corner haha

I cut her down alot , but still try to leave a 1/3 of the plant.
If i know she's fire & I'm gonna turn her i quit blooming as soon as possible.
Sooner the turn the better.
Light to nothing feeds.
I run soil & you run cocoa so you may have to feed a little sooner than me.
Definitely can 24 hours till you get plenty shoots

You can turn that lollipoped plant.
Just keep lowish 24 hour light & light feeds until she starts turning weird & throwing shoots.
When she starts putting out new growth you can start turning up the light & feed.
Cocoa is much faster than im used to & not my wheelhouse.

I use a turbo cloner when shoots get big enough.
Once i know it's a winner i just take clones in veg the next time.

Granted all my work is in ffof & not cocoa.
Cocoa will probably take a little light feed work, I'm not familiar with cocoa it's definitely faster & out of my wheelhouse.

I just cut the buds off of what a want , dip them & then some cloner.
Pile drive em straight into ffof , keep em 1/2 assed moist with lowish 24 hour light until they grow again.
If it's a known winner i take cuts before bloom & they go straight into a clone king.
Running from seed sometimes i cut buds to reveg.
Works most of the time for me

Thanks man, that’s actually so cool! I will be giving it a go with a bud in a solo cup as well :)

Every day Watermelon gets prettier and I want to keep her more haha!

I've really only had a couple plants ever that wouldn't hardly clone.
I had a bubba's gift i loved, but she vegged ungodly slow & would take forever to throw shoots.
Once i vegged she bloomed fast a/f
Like a true 7 weeker, weird plant.
A real winner with great terps.
I know you'll get shoots

She'll just sit for awhile, & you just gotta be easy on her until she starts turning.
Be patient & eventually she'll turn or die.

I can do this! Man you are killing it with those little bud cups haha they’re so cute!

I plan to coddle them for as long as it takes!

They don't need any fan or air.
Just reveg them in still air.
Take several cuts & the less developed the better.
If you cover them they'll mold before they finally turn.
You could also leave as much on the bottom of the whole original plant & throw it in the corner to reveg too.
Surely one of them will turn for you & give you shoots.
It's gonna take a awhile.
