2nd grow 12/12 from seed

Ok ty. I’ll run it by the master blaster for final approval. This says master grower next to my name lol I’m an apprentice/trimmer.
People have been putting plants in flower just to sext it then back into veg to grow it out for years now. Some even cover one branch with dark bags and sext one branch out. There is not much actual scientific data showing lighting causes hermie. People have been growing outside for decades. Moonlight and much more....no problems. I honestly believe the hermie is more genetic then anything. There has even been test grows stressing plants in flower. Good luck though. Girls are looking great!!!

that makes sense to me... you know the moonlight ect...was kinda hard for me to fathom a little light sending them Bernie from stress when you have people aggressively fondling lst and even super cropping without hermie

Thats because most of the stress is done to the plant while in veg. You can legit almost do anything to a plant in veg as long as the enviroment is dialed in....the plant recovers.

ok 👍. Tyvm for the advice. Just text my growing guide and he says green light on the switcheroo. Guess it’s 18/6 for a while. Hate to flush all that green down the toilet just to get an early harvest.

If you have a really fickle strain it doesnt take a lot to hermy them.

Light proof is light proof. cover every light you see. No shit. I have seeded my entire bloom room on 2 occasions and its a bitch. It is very useable and smokeable and you get good at picking out seeds...and hash is the goat but...

Conditions do it more often (too hot...too dry....too much intense light and larfy shit getting no light). But i would cover every light.

What always gets me is my fat thumb hits a timer and pops it from timer to on....i just caught it on my HPS which ran a solid 24 yesterday...

Good thing I love hash and its easy to make :D

This is one of the plants that I’ve grown 12/12 from seed, sometimes you can get pretty decent yields out of them, over 2oz’s sometimes. Like HW said, it’ll take them 5-6 weeks to ever start showing sex/flowering, no matter what. That first 5-6 weeks is critical in determining your yield, if everything is as perfect as possible you’ll get good vegetative growth, which equals= good yields.
But then again, there’s some strains that just don’t like doing the 12/12 from seed thing.
Here’s some I’ve currently got going-

👆all this.

I like to think in veg I'm growing healthy roots. The plants will show you what's what after the flip.

My last round here I flipped before the plants were sexually mature, and same exact thing, 5-6 weeks to even show pisitls after the 12/12 flip. If I counted from the flip, I'd be going on about 90 days of flower now... that's just absurd. The real number is closer to 60 or so.
