I just gave a away 3 Mars hydro sp 150’s they where actually pretty good lights I used 3 of them in a 4x4 with good results

I have 2 TS1000's and 2 TSW2000's and they are all great. They are like a good used Honda civic, cheap and get shit done lol.

Wait till you flip. They'll get on out there. I think the compact look is just cause they are healthy and the leaves wanna grow faster than the branches.

I was more worried about the skinny stems supporting the palm tree, but the roots must be in there good.

I'm ALWAYS lookong for new ideas and ways to improve. That shit looks clean! Im looking into t slot aluminum extrusion for the sides. Instead of angle or flatstock. Another guy on here painted his. Thatd be sick if I did white or green!

If you can find a shop or anodize yourself that would be the way to go. Paint in the grow room would be a turnoff for me personally. I dont want shit flaking off on my bud down the road.

As soon as these dry out enough (hopefully tomorrow) they’ll be getting transplanted. They’re a lot wider than they are tall, the 6500’s are keeping them short and stocky.

...rubber duckling. No idea why the one, even if stretched a bit, is at least out of the blocks and the one just starting. The third is really taking its time. I don't have any thought of winning here but at least I want to put up a showing! Maybe I will change over to Styrofoam. Maybe a 12 pack beer cooler to do the run in?

Black is the best color to radiate heat. That is why all colored heatsinks for electronics used to be black. That was before the care people did other colors to look cool, rather than run cool.

Just watered them. That is what inspired me to take a picture of them. This is a hydro soil mix, the coco cups I have look a lot dryer. It looks damp but does not even stick to my finger when I press the top of the soil. I have no idea what to make of this stuff yet.

Just watered them. That is what inspired me to take a picture of them. This is a hydro soil mix, the coco cups I have look a lot dryer. It looks damp but does not even stick to my finger when I press the top of the soil. I have no idea what to make of this stuff yet.

I would recommend a specific seed starter soil. They are finer grade, almost no junk in it, and lots of tiny perlite for aeration/drainage. And until I see true leaves popping out mine don't even get soaked. Just squirts from a spray bottle as needed. And I only squirt the water around the edge of the cup to get the roots to go look for it. You can use that same spray bottle to mist them frequently if needed, but drier is beter IMO.

The (not competition) seeds I stuck in coco days later are as far as the taller Heisenbean one. Chalk it up to 'I am not going to use that stuff again. Threw out the bag and can not remember the name but it was an 'all organic mix' so I thought it might be safe to use.

I'm building a couple nice lights at the moment mixing 3500K COB's and the Growdaddy 3500K strips plus another 100 watts of 660's on each. Planning on running 2 Pure UVB's way up high above the canopies. Not sure about the UVBs, but thinking about it.

Ya With this big light it’s kinda a bitch to raise and lower it cause I have to reach all the way in the back corner it would be sweet to rig it so it’s in the middle but my big light needs a support in each corner it’s got a little weight to it

Rig you a "pulley" directly above each support. Rig the "ratchet" where you can reach it easily. Even those "eye" (lag) bolts would work for the pulley.

Let the soil get real dry, then add back about 10% by weight in water when you put seeds in there. It's really not a lot of water, but they don't need much. I like using a pinch of endo-myco's (that's what the little spoon says ) to promote that first microbial and root growth going. I just stir it into the cup of slightly moist soil.

What kind of light do you have? What type of fans are you using for circulation and exhaust?

I don't know why I didn't add perlite to it. I don't think I ever have not. I usually add vermiculite also. I just grabbed the bag of this stuff because the coco I had was out frozen on the deck when we started. Seeing how the other seedlings are doing fine I will stick to what I have done in the past.
