Figured I’d do an update today in case I forget to after I transplant them tomorrow night. Mine are finally starting to grow at a steady pace now that I’ve got the watering in check. These girls really do not need much water at all compared to what I’m used to.

Have you always done a 11 on 13 off schedule vs the 12/12?

Years ago, I was doing 8hrs on and 16 off. Guys I worked with were doing it. Why wouldn't 8hrs on and 8hrs off work?
Should quicken flower a lot.
Anyone ever tried it?
Just keep your DLI way up there, you should pull something decent.
You younger and newer growers give it a try sometime, just for "shits and giggles".

Plants only grow in light. I actually flip my plants to 18/6 the last 2 weeks to ripen and fatten up the seeds before harvest. I get less immature seeds and greenies , 12 12 seems to be my sweet spot for flowering , I'm sure 13 11 would be ok also, would prob get weird growth.
One issue I had was cracked seeds. I narrowed it down to to high heat and humidity to low during the drying process.

Update on these comp plants taking a few fan leaves off around the last update time turned into a good idea as I now have some real nice branching out happening

I agree 12/12 is just right. If you think about it, no place on this planet gets 18 hrs of light for plants to consume. I think once a plant gets to 12 1/2 hrs of light, triggers it to begin sensing it's death and wants to reproduce offspring.
8/8/8 would be a "crap shoot" for sure. lol

I have the last couple of years especially in the summer it helps with heat a bit. I have ran 11 on 13 off , 12/ 12 which I ran for years and did not see much difference in yield. If I can save an hour of power with no detrimental affects figured why not. It is all about getting the method dialed in. I am sure I read about it somewhere before going to it but will stay with it now.

Gotta chop 2 more (can't make my mind up yet), then they all get 5 gal pots.

I switched to 11-13 when running sativas and never seen any difference in yield/weight.... Helped them finish quicker, never tried bumping it back to 18-6 I might give it a shot for shits & giggles

They are some "big ass" fan leaves on these plants.
I think I over did it. They are big as pie plates. lol

A noticeable growth spyrt for my 4 bitches!
Worm castings, molasses, compost, weeping willow new growth branches. I use a machete and go to town on it.
Then into a 5gallon paint strainer tied to the handle to keep it elevated.
Bubbled for 2 to 3 days.
I double it with 5 more gallons of ro water or well water , depending on the location.
My place , no. The spot, .
Now I need to build myself a light for once haja. I'm a Virgo. I like to make people happy.
Smokong on some LT s1 this morning. @Butlers ridge will vouch for the potency on this batch. I jave 3 more beans. I may run em outside. A fairly quick finisher. I ran the LT x stardawg last year and it was

The next two above will go but it just didn't seem ready. When the sprouts above them get bigger they're gone. and I left the bottom ones because they ain't shading anything.

Here are the rules.
Everyone who signed up in the other thread will be given a number in PM , you will email me your number and a shipping address. Once you send me your ship address you will post on this thread your IN.

The rules will be simple. ALL SEEDS will ship out Monday. You will have your seeds by the weekend. Everyone will receive 8 seeds each


Soak date will be March 24
You can pop as many as you like. You can grow them anywhere you want. As long as everyone follows the schedule. I'm use to following strict deadlines and this contest will be similar.
Plants need to be finished 14 weeks from pop date. That is giving everyone plenty of time for veg and flower. Again this is a contest of no fuck ups or losses.
You will all put the date 3-24 on the pots your plants are in. Thats it. Anyone who tries to cheat or substitute will be disqualified.
The plants will be judged on a single cola, don't need to see the whole plant, just your best top.
There will be 2 judges, me and and 1 other. We each will pick our favorite 3 and we will have the 6 go into a final vote by everyone in the forum. Cheaters will be disqualified. I own this place so trust me I can see if someone votes more than once or tries some bullshit.

No one will be required to post pics at a specific time but the top 2 posters of there plants in this thread will receive 2nd place prizes.
First place will receive Adub crossed to every plant in my garden. 1, 10 pack of each strain all fems, those seeds will be rare and most likely never given out again.

2nd place will be almost as good.


You guys have the rules , wait for my numbers.
