I’ve been reading lately that they think nice white ash has more to do with proper drying and curing than anything else.

I know shit about EC or hydro. Never even used a ppm or ec meter. So im assuming 2.0ec is your "finishing" amount. Do you taper off from a higher EC mid flower? Is that your "flushing" period? Or do you run 2.0 from flip?

Im experimenting a little this round with my nutrient regime. But normally I feed around 2ec from flip.

I’ll probably go back to my normal feeding next run as I haven’t noticed a difference at all using a higher EC.
