"Really fluffy." I know there is some fluffy sativas that look pretty sad bag appeal wise, but I'm talking bud you would throw directly into the hash bin.

When I harvest, the top buds get put into a bin, all of the decent popcorn buds get put into a second bin, and everything else gets thrown in the hash bin. If I were to weigh out my yield, the second bin would be weighed separately with an asterisk, and the hash material wouldn't even get an honorable mention. My trim would never be seen.

I have a half-inch bucket grid I toss the bucked nugs on. Anything that falls through is either hash or I'll smoke a few nugs to test the batch. I don't bother trimming it.

I don't think that newbs will be growing a long flowering Sativa, but even those will plump up if you wait long enough. Then again if that is what you are growing it'll still all be relative - tops to lowers - what you want to keep

I have no issue with growers counting popcorn buds toward their final weight as long as they are dense and have similar quality to the large buds. I used to separate them from my larger buds and more than one friend asked me why I bother when they feel, taste, and smoke the same as the larger buds, so I just put them all together now and only separate larf and trim.

The diagonal of a 5x5 tent is almost 7 feet. You measured a 4 ft plant corner to corner. You have almost 3 ft of empty space. 1.5 feet on each corner.

Everything will be here by tomorrow @Buddernugs , my first setup is gonna be a dial in. Can we figure out what tent size you actually have so we can be on the same page. I'll be in a tent same as you, led light same as you. No excuses or half ass shit we need to set a date. You should know when your plants are scheduled and that should not be a issue. All my grows are ran through trello, it's a bad ass app that groups your grows. It actually taught me alot when u can see how much time is wasted and empty spaces you have that should be utilized. Every grow in my setup is already scheduled to 2023

My popcorn bin is like neutral turf of two gangs. If the tops start running out they get drafted into that bin. If the shatter material starts running out they get blasted.

I really don't pull much actual larf anymore though. I go to fairly extreme measures to prevent it from forming. If I do end up with a decent amount, it was grower error over strain.
