Moose cocks, or bust
@bk-og Here's how my plants dance with my rotating grill fan hung horizontally. This is on high, which is a bit much for these little things. The fan has a really nice spread and no "hot spot" in the center. The company stopped producing them, so they are hard to find. The one in my second tent just died, so I'm going to have to find a replacement of some sort.

No wonder you guys need to strip every leaf for airflow 😝

I kid I kid

Sat upon their slabs. That’s a lot of floor space being covered. Normally I run 6 plants in that space, but I’m way behind so this was the cheetah method. I could have gone more plants per slab, but they would dry out quickly and watering with the Growtek would be tough. I don’t think I’m even going to top or defoliate them. This will be interesting.

After I harvest this tent I’m going to install a mini split that I bought last fall. Then I can remove that big insulated AC ducting to free up more space.

I think I'm going to reposition the trays sideways so that I can offset them. I normally like when they are front to back because I can climb under the net easier, but since there are so many plants there isn't enough room for me anyway.

I'm going to see if the Growtek guy can make me some custom 6" x 8" rectangle watering rings. The slabs are about 35 1/4", and if I use 6" cubes, 8" watering rings would fit between the cubes perfectly.
I was pondering over this, and thought maybe I could just use 6x8 trays of some sort with a bunch of holes drilled into them. I couldn't find much in those dimensions, but I found molds to make trays that size. Then I found bottles of liquid silicone and watched videos on how to make slab trays. So I might end up making my own. If I made the mold and took my time, I could make water channels and test them for the best design. It seems like yet another fun side project that I may or may not get around to.

I took BK's advice and bought a Phantom PHOTOBIO par meter today. Then about an hour later I discovered that my Blue ph pen had died. So I had to order another one. I also ordered an automatic bilge pump to use in a DIY runoff drainage system. Plus some more 3/8" silicone tubing to use in the project. In a few days I'll order a Growtek system. Then I just have to restock on rockwool and I'll be good until the next cycle.

In the fall I'll start upgrading my old lights. I'm interested in getting a par reading of them. The Spectrum King SK600s are ancient, but I suspect they are still pushing a decent number.

Well that worked out perfectly. I bought 3/8” tubing to stretch over 1/2” fittings, and it just so happened to fit inside of this old wand. I was going to zip tie it to the outside like I usually do, but no need now. This is way better.

Also the 26’ roll is long enough to stretch to my veg room’s res. I’ve always had to fill up buckets and carry them over until now. It’s even cool watching the water move through the tubing. This is maybe the best 20 bucks I’ve ever spent.

The only downside is that it kinks easier than vinyl. But a little hose management is all it takes to prevent that from happening.

Man don’t ya love it when all the plants are uniform in size? Makes shit easier

There are three different strains and they are all growing at pretty much the same rate. The problem I have now is a few of them are damping off. I think it's from spraying the hell out of them to get rid of thrips. It's weird because the plants all look healthy and the roots are fine. The stalks are just bottlenecking. It's not a big deal, I'll still have plenty of plants. It's just odd because they are so big.

Ya that is stuff I only see early on, the first week and a half.
