Better or easier? I haven't tried them yet. I'm assuming you have tried both. They are though...

I wouldn't say they are better, but I would say they are easier. The problem I have with them is they don't last as long as jars, are harder to clean, they add to all the plastic waste we already have too much of, and their zip locks do fail. Oh, and they are more expensive than jars. They are though...
I get that.BTW, what irritated me the most is that when I mentioned those reasons, he came back with "I’ll spend $35 to make sure my buds cure well, ppl go the cheap route and wonder why they cant produce good flower. ". Dude hasn't even had a harvest yet and he's knocking people for not using Grove bags?
Why would you clean a bag though? They're pretty much disposable. My biggest issues with Jars is that they break all to easily. That and you can't stuff a lb in a jar. I know I can hide flattish bags far easier than a bunch of Mason Jars. Plus with the amount I grow I would be spending hours a day just burping jars...fuck that noise.I wouldn't say they are better, but I would say they are easier. That's part of my point. Grove bags are expensive as fuck if they are used as disposable bags and only used once. I don't burp jars. I cure in buckets and then store in jars once curing is done. Why would you clean a bag though? They're pretty much disposable. My biggest issues with Jars is that they break all to easily. Buckets with gamma lids work great. I have a check valve on the side of the bucket down at the bottom, and another at the top on the opposite side, and then have an air pump hooked up to them to burp them for 15 minutes once a day.Hmmm... I think I might try using a Corny keg for curing/storing my weed. It would be a piece of cake to keep under pressure/burp and fit a really good amount. Putting shit in jars everytime after every harvest is starting to suck.

Yup. I'm thinking 5 gal of perfectly sealed air tight stainless steel storage that is a breeze to get in and out of might just be worth 60$. Hell I bet a lot people have a CO2 tank on hand to put it under pressure because they are all ready pushing beer with it.View attachment 131382
One of these?

Thanks! I've wanted to try it thanks for the breakdown. Not sure about better but easier for sure. No need for burping. And yeah I've tried about everything out there (except cyro)for curing. What's really nice about Grove bags though is that they are completely smell proof if handled properly. It makes it far less stressful when traveling with weight.
Grove bags are "green tax" repurposed technology. They are beef jerky storage tech. There are excellent knock off's you can buy in bulk. That's part of my point. Wasn't even aware they were a thing until you mentioned them thanks!Yup.
