Everyone is happy now that the sun is out.

Cut the 1/2 pvc and added the connectors. Will attach to the pallet once they're cured.

Beanlings are entering into veg cycle. Banana Crack(right) will go into the garden as soon as the third set of leaves are nearly full. Probably around 3 days at It's current rate of growth. Will harden off beginning tomorrow or the next day.

I'll have pics posted of the garden later.

Greenhouse update...

Had to buy a couple a couple new 10' lengths of 1/2" pvc. The joints broke loose when I flexed them this much. I had to use uncut 10' lengths with sliding connectors (guy at the hardware store called them "swivels"). The frame is fitted. Now I'll tighten down the metal brackets and glue the joints & swivels in place to make her structurally sound.

Next I'll fit the ends with 6mil black plastic and the top with a 6mil opaque cover (leaving the lower sides open for acces and airflow).

I'm lookin to automate it so I don't have to be there at certain times of day. I'm thinking a frame or track to run the blackout cover in. Something like a garage door frame but obviously that would be overkill.
Best way to automate is a rollers on a couple of swing arms. You put the motor at the end of the roller on the end attached to each swing arm. The cover rolls down from the top over the opaque cover. A set of ratchet straps, attached on either end from peak to base, over the roll, on each side keep the cover tight to the hoophouse.

I'll be doing something very similar on my little hoophouse. Ill have ratchet straps going over my cover as well. Stay tuned and you'll see what I mean. It's a little hot right now but I'll be setting mine up toward this evening when it's cooler.

Finished installing my 3rd 12v 100ah battery and 1500w pure sine inverter on my 800w solar generator. Just in time for PG&E's 1st set of anti-wildfire blackouts. Almost everyone else will be running their fuel guzzling dirty gas generators while my clones and Solo's will be soaking up juice from pure, clean, sun power. One of my neighbors has got me beat though. They've got like 100,000w in 3 huge arrays. Sh*t, I can only dream.

800w monocrystalline pv's. Should have them installed on my little 25' 5th wheel before the end of summer.

Awesome brother! With those cxb s you’ll be able to grow a good sized crop off that juice! Very nice

Friggin beauty. I have a good array on the roof here. I find it funny that the sun's power gets converted all around to become artificial sunlight again. Lmfao. 🌞💡🌞💡🌞💡
A big difference between my system and a normal home system is that off-grid requires a battery bank to function. Grid-tied arrays rely on the grid as their bank but you can also install inverters and batts if you want to upgrade your's to an even more useful system (if you haven't already). Grid-tied battery banks are becoming very common in India to compensate for their regular power outages. Because of that China is producing lots of cheap components now. With PG&E doing wildfire outages here in Cali I think we're going to see a sharp increase in grid-tied battery banks. That's great for prices (even with the possible tariffs).
