Purple Breeding project using old TGA genetics.

I recently started some old TGA genetics (Querkle and Peacetrain) I'm currently about to flower some Querkle females outdoor to observe what they look like grown in NY. Hopefully they finish and get some purples by October.

I have a few males, with 1 male looking like a true specimen, smells, vigor, structure - all of it. If it produces colors it's not exactly the most important trait, I will be making f2 preservation using the best females.

I also have some haze dominant "Peacetrain"(mendo purple haze x Jack The Ripper) females, no males in the batch so I cannot make f2's of this discontinued variety. The best purple haze dominant chemotype among the Peacetrain will be pollenated with the best male Querkle. That is my goal for this project, I am cloning my Peacetrain now and in about 2 months I will have them entering flower for seed making depending in the performance of these potential mother plants.

Peacetrain is currently discontinued but I can still utilize the f1 generation for polyhybrids.

I expect testers to be ready by years end if everything goes well.

Its really cool to see someone working subcools old lines..
Man ive grown many of his gear back in the days when he had his weednerd videos..
Definitely a pioneer of the weed scene imo..
Best of luck with the project..

I lost 2 to intersex as they failed my stress test.
I have one male of my own hybrid with Mild purpling and a strong candy/violets smell that I want to pollenate the 2 last remaining Querkle females, I still have 4 PeaceTrain females I want to pollenate if they stay stable for another week or two, slower to flower when compared to querkle but not as slow as some of my hybrid plants to react to light changes.

All of these females will be put in my male flowering tent and re-veg'd along with my males, Any that show intersex will be culled and those that don't will have some hybrid seeds I would love to grow immediately even before the Querkle f2's.

20240823_202227.jpg20240823_202232.jpgI dropped some pollen on the grape soda Querkle, and another male's pollen on the "macaroon" smelling querkle.
The two males I have to use now are heavily sativa dominated, one is more thai dominant(Sour Apple, green tea, black cherries) and the other more malawi(Mango-Carrot) with plushberry's soda flavors mixed in.
A few hundred seeds is all I need 😃
I want to see what these seeds produce, theynwill tell me more about these males and which i shouldnuse for f3 seed selections down the line.

some Sativa hybrid "grape soda" might be in the near future.

I just ordered some seeds of Norstar Seeds "Chelumbian f2"(Cheese x S.M-Colombian Gold) that I've wanted to grow since 2021. I expect great things.

I got a bunch more querkle hybrid seeds in the promotion, and a 13 pack of the Panama Boqueté I am growing now!
