i see them too but only one or two strains per year if that.. and they normally get tossed ive done the whole pick off the balls they always come back... only way they dont is if you see one or two on the very bottom of the plant and its normally caused by some sort of stress. any more than 3 and they come back always you might not see them but you will see a few seeds in your bud,

getting kinda iffy on these packs i need to see more bud shots before i pop... i dont want to fill a garden with heisen beans and have to pick off balls of the lowers of the plants! not my cup of tea! reliable strains never show balls... i found one seed from a qp of milkbone i was hesitant to plant it because i didnt want any hermies, but it was so tasty i decided to do it.... now i had this other strain holy grail ive been growing forever with no signs off balls ever... my tent was leaking light this last go round because i had to take it down and put it back up.. a few times so its worn pretty much... anyway my grail that ive been growing for so long started to show balls on bottom and also bananas on top.... THE MILKBONE is the same tent did not herm or throw balls at all.... thats what i call stable genetics...
Sorry but that is just not accurate. You can't judge everyone's results your based on your limited experiences.

first off i didn't judge everyone's results it was clearly based off my results and where did you get limited experiences? not my first grow buddy! It was very accurate!
I mean limited because you're applying your experiences to every plant that throws a few early balls. Even if you grew 1000s of plants that is a very limited number compared to the amount of plants being grown yearly, so even if you have never experienced a plant not throwing out balls after you plucked them doesn't mean that is common place in the millions of other gardens out there.

I mean I've had several plants, not just feminized seeds either, throw a few balls, plucked then and they never returned. Most lately with a cannaventure Hurkle.

If you personally don't feel comfortable with plants that throws balls then by all means cut it down but that doesn't mean that all plants that throw balls early are "hermies" or no good.

THIS is a hermie plant. Figured a good pic to clear up some things. I have also had occasional balls at branches meeting stem. Plucked them and never saw again. Had a 10 foot outdoor plant literally covered in what this picture looks like. Actually felt bad for the thing. It was like I could hear it saying

Kill......meeee....

stupid question, I gots to ask. Would it help or hurt to let my led hang sideways and supplement the HPS flowering out the two Skeleton cookies. Right now its a downward angle, hitting one a lil more, I just figured in a tent with all the reflection plus direct light, it have to help, right?

I got the heat controlled, I was just curious, not being any sort of led guy, if the combo of the HID from top and LED from side would mess with it, is all. It was too easy to unhook two of the four corner metal cord, drop it down with a small piece of chain to where its right at half way up, one plant will be gettin a big more of it than the other, that don't worry me none. Been spinnin em and repositioning anyhow. Thanks guys

I only count the last 5 years as growing experience anything before that I do not count because I thought I knew everything and did not even check online or books

Does anyone remmeber the old photo trons growing lights? Back in like 1995 I used to veg with them lol

I have one Corey and one ADUB that are getting a little funky spotted leaves. Seems it's only these 2 so far and the rest are very healthy. They are 17 days into flower and already all the bud sites are frosted up.

Here is the Corey:

Here is one of the leaves with a problem:

12634

This is the other leaf:

12635

It's only affecting a few leaves on both plants and is not spreading. But I'm worried that it might spread further. The affected leaves are a little higher than mid way up the colas.

I'm thinking Cal/mag. Any ideas?

Considering how high up on the plant it is, Id suspect a CA lockout. Since the tips are burnt I wouldnt suspect a deficiency. Likely a lockout of CA due to hot nutes. Try dialing back the nutes a bit and see if she starts to ease out of it.
Whats your feed/schedule with them?
