Well this will be long and picture heavy cuz as a noob i liked to see lots of pics while learning to gain perspective on how everything works together as a package, so im working in an 11x11 spare bedroom, have 2 tents setup both 4x8x7s one for veg/cloning and one for flower. Started out wanting to run a perpetual in the flower tent but my electrical setup in my house had other ideas. So here is some shots of the current veg tent as of today, and some pics of one side of the flower tent setup with 2 cherry pie ladies

Tried to run my diy cob fixture and an aircooled hood in the flower tent but temps were getting too hot too fast, so had to run only my led at 320watts over both girls in a 4x4 space, my space was just getting too hot with my fan (ac infinity 6in with smart controller) doing the air exchange and venting the hood at the same time, and the light only set at 600w (1000 capable). So i pulled it down and havent used since. Did build a ghetto stanley blower to try with the hood but i just dont wanna deal with all the ducting its a pain in the ass my room

So during flower with the 2 cherry pie ladies i started popping my breaker in the growroom, pain in the butt cuz gotta reset all the controllers in the room. So i added a sub panel in the room, added 100amps on 4 breakers and 4 new outlets in the room, at the same time i also upgraded my 6k btu ac for a much newer 12k unit to help with temps in the room, i run a less than optimal ventilation setup, 1 6in ac infinity fan in the veg tent venting out the top into the room, the ac cools the air in the whole room then it is extracted via the flower tent with another ac 6in fan venting out the cieling, intake air comes in via the door to the room.ATTENTION!!! DO NOT ATTEMPT A SUB PANEL INSTALLATION WITHOUT PROPER TRAINING,its real easy to burn your house down if you fuck up. Seriously!!!

So now onto some ghetto stuff i did along the way. My intake filters are totally homemade peep the pics, its just ducting, blue ac prefilter, and pantyhose rubberbanded on. I looked at real hepa intake filters and couldnt afford it so i came up with these, they can be scaled to 4in or 6 in as needed and work pretty well, free flowing, totally light proof and cheap

As for my dwc setup its diy bins from lowes, (had a ton of the foil tape on hand given to me)17 gal size covered in 1in foam insulation board, top bottom and sides, did some simple hinged lids for easy access, and some 5 gal size grow tops, did this for an easy transition from veg buckets to the bigger systems. Inside is 1 big long airstone from wally (15in i think)with fishing weights hot glued to the bottom. I run 10 gals in each.

Thanks a lot man id say im like red lol on the frugal side, planning on setting up my next 2 girls and my net in the morning, and trying to finish up getting everything in the journal current, ive got lots of bigger things going on as well, but ill get to that later

Most definitely, after finding this place im dying to try out one or 2 of these fire strains you all are running, but im just as excited to get my first second run in of this chemdog, the first one whooped my ass good lol all the rookie mistakes, nuked her tips with good intentions, then totally mis judged the stretch, bad idea in a 6ft cieling box, then had to butcher and supercrop her into submission, but all that was duly noted. Now im ready for the next go no surprises and jacks 321

Yes im hella new still but without a doubt this is the best forum ive been on no bullshit at all that ive seen, everyone is excessively helpful, and no bench growers or trolls it really is paradise lol now i just gotta figure out whos who from the other 2 places i cut my teeth at riu and thc farmer 100s and 100s of hours reading there, but this spot feels right if that makes sense lol im baked dam lemon og

Got some rearranging in the room done had to relocate the fan, woke up late then got sidetracked reading reds threads lol hopefully havethem 2 girls in by tomorrow, and the net setup and ready theyre getting big for the spot and light im using to veg em

Operation chemscrog is a go finally got some time to set up my net and pop my girls in there, cant wait for the schwaggy beans

And took 2 gsc clones today as well hopefully they root quick, the rate now has been about 10to15 days, changed the water and added a dash of bennie tea and a few more pieces of housing. Also working on a few bonsai moms ill get pics up at lights on, wish id read about the mini moms earlier

I agree with @SoLowDoughLow on the lead weights. Not sure if they would shed any lead but i think i would try and find something else to weight it down. Man those 2 tents eat up that room but nice to have that much grow room. Everything looks good.

Good call on the weighted discs. I had a couple of half dollar sized pawfly stones and they just got tossed around by the current then eventually tangled in the birds nest of roots. Discs have changed all that, more air too. Totally feel ya on the budget thing. I've used 99c store suction cups by clamping the wire around for my ph and ppm probes.

Im hoping the stone change and some good genetics is gonna be my last 2 major changes, currently have a gsc from a place here called wilburs farms, a gg#??? From a fellow chucker in so cal, cherry pie from ilgm, and a chemdog of unknown origin after reading schwaggys stuff on the chems im guessing a chem 91 cut from the random double serrations and the leaf varegation he showed in his pics, and currently very impatiently awaiting my skunky va and rsd x blacklight, trying to up my game, was gonna throw out a tester question but dont think im worthy yet, but after all my reading it always came back to genetics, but im a goat so i tried with what i had lol good practice i guess
