He is doing pretty good. Been some up and down times for him lately but he is hanging in there from what I can tell. I am having him build me a second light right now, which should be done anytime, that will make me have no more HID's only LED's. The temperature difference alone has been stellar getting rid of the first two 1000w HID's and after this last one is gone I can get my setup back out to run some more seeds. I know I have some seeds from @HydroRed that I have been slacking on waiting for my light changeover and need to run soon. If anyone is on the fence on LED's then just wait and see what happens this flowering run for me as I was apprehensive to make the switch but am excited to see the results now.

I know i grew a claimed 23% white widow and the heisenbeans in the same place same everything.
I am giving the white widow to friends. The walter white is only to elite friends and that shit is mine.
The difference is amazing actually. Strength i mean. Flavor wise the white widow was exemplary in flavor for the strain. the train wreck too and its about a 20%er.
These beans (HB) are not 20% beans.
It s a lot genetics.
And eso said it just right. I am a math guy i say 80/20 rule works. 80% genetic 20% mastery

I like whyte. Hes just comes off arrogant sometimes. He,is very smart and can spout numbers off. Correct numbers..off the top of his head.
But he isnt gonna do the work for anybody. As a novice, I ask questions that I cant figure out. But there are plenty of references out there for us to do it like he did.
I just dont have the time or energy to put into it. That dude should quit his dayjob and make lights! I would if I had the expertise and $$$$.those lights are pricey. But even more so if ya buy the premade ones like hlg sells. My rig out the door was 200$ it is 250 watt. A similar model premade and put in a box with instructions is well over 300. Most dont feel comfortable doing it themsepves.
I went in after building my 4 qb132's and a 240w1750ma driver and showed the hydro guy.
He said it wouldnt sell because its too rough looking. Now they have pretty knockoff chinese versions in there that are selling off the shelves he said for 199. Ya think they are true samsung diodes and a relible driver. Ya think it'll cover a 2x4 nah. But its pretty. Stupid kids.

Fuck.him , me and him had a discussion on rollitup or here cant remember and he barely getting by. Anyone with half a brain and an understanding of basic math can build a fucking light. That dude is way overpriced for the parts hes putting into them.
Rapid led sells all the parts and the kits to put them together for half of what he is telling people they are worth. And they wont get mad at you and refund your paypal so it take you a week to get your money back.

Are you noticing any significant differences between QB and COB now that you've ran both?
I feel.like the QBs are slightly better as far as intensity goes but I cant see any difference in growth.

The boards are 60 a piece including heat sinks. That's a super efficient one though. You could get away with 3 boards on a 4x4 and just up the amps and get the same wattage but less spread out if you wanted to save money on parts. Basically what led builders do. They put more wattage in less light coverage in a piece of equipment that's easy to ship. Customer gets fucked and builder makes money. And yes they are all dimmable.

The light in my 5'x10' tent is 1920 watts but I have it dimmed down some and the 5'x5' tent will have 960 watts. It is crushing it so far and can't wait to see a full flower run.Yeah i would like to see how they compare.
