Hey chuckers, thought i'd start a fresh grow diary. These plants were started July 30th in 7 gallon fabric pots of proterra peat based mix straight from rooted clone. I got extremely fast veg growth going straight to big pots, and they've now been under 12/12 for about 9 days.

Ferts are Botanicare pbp grow and calcium silicate/calcium carbonate. Room is ventilated, no co2 supp, 2x HID running MH in Veg and HPS in flower. 16 plants semi stadium with elevated side rows, supported by netting tied to stakes.

Violator kush on the right, space cookies on the left. Also one bubba kush and one God bud in the mix, bonus points if you can guess which ones they are lol.

Enjoy!

Beautiful healthy looking plants. How are you irrigating those lady's?

Holy crap that is a tight fit. I guarantee you smell good after watering. LOL. Your set up would be a nice candidate for the Blumat watering system. There is a thread on this site and over at RIU. I am seting mine up in about 6 weeks. Will follow your grow.
Lol tight fit is right. I go underneath the canopy, my wand reaches from the door all the way to the back. I dont go in here..

Lol I've already taken a rubbermaid full of leaves out of here. I never fully strip the plants, but I do need to pull some more leaves.

when I need to get in I can move the 2 middle rows further to the outside making a small path down the middle. I CAN get to the back, I just dont very often.

I think my days of potting up are done. From here out I'm going straight from clone into large wide fabric pots. This round was a bit of an experiment based on the thought that a root structure that's wider rather than deeper would yield far more feeder roots growing off the main air pruned roots. I've always seen these huge plants outside in massive fabric pots and wondered how much the actual shape of the root mass affected growth. Given the way the root structure develops in a fabric pot it only made sense that the more distance the roots have to go to the side before air pruning, the better. I used just over 5 gallons of media in 7 gallon pots to achieve the shape I wanted, and just rolled the sides of the pots down.

All I can say is I've gone from clones to a full room in just under a month with essentially hydroponic growth rates, using fabric pots and a promix like peat based media, a system that only requires watering once every 3-4 days. Oversized fabric pots ftw.

Start of week 3, things are looking great. Tonight they get a pure water feed. I'll run half the water through first straight from the source at 100ppm then add an additional 150ppm calcium silicate for the second half of the watering. No ph adjustment for this feeding. I'll water to 10% runoff.

After this water feed I'll let it get quite dry before hitting them with a 1.4ec/750ppm feeding of pbp grow and a half strength dose of GP massive bloom.
