Nice little chat earlier. Them haters over there are persistent. Luckily it's only a small hand full. Most of em fell off the map after all the pics started dropping. A few still lingering. Mostly small time chumps bored or pissed off at there own shitty set ups. PowderyDemon still lurking in my shadows. He will never come here to face me or any of his goon squad members that started up that shit hole forum shitucate and there entire 10 members sitting around holding my nuts in there jaws wondering what I did and they didnt. Wait.till pics drop of all the new shit i just sent out to greenpoint.
Any news of when the new drop is going to be HEISEN

All looks good dude so far.. We all was a noob at one time or another. One thing il suggest wood be to defoil all big fan leaves that are in the top half of ur plants. If ur bout half way threw flower, then imo theres no need for them. They block valueable direct light that ur buds need more than a leaf at this point in process.
Another wood be to strip all bud sites below the top foot or 18inches on each branch. That way all energy is focused on growing colas.
Again even after 22yrs of growing i still try to learn as much as i can on growing. And these are just a couple things ive had success using. Was just trying to help and am not one of those growers that claims to be sum expert. Good luck dude

Thanks for the feedback. I actually just lollypopped my next plants that I'm going to flower. I've noticed my LED doesn't penetrate well and there is a bunch of tiny buds in the lowers, esp. the middle of the plants. I'm going to start taking off a lot of the bottoms before I flip to flower. Not only for yield, but it makes it easier to water the plants.

Current situation, if I take off the top fans will the top of the colas still produce well? Should I remove all of them or just the ones blocking lower buds? I am going to leave a couple of lowers to see if the plants spit out any bananas/seeds down there as I am testing. As a bad grower, I'm an amazing tester. @Heisenbeans . Hope you didn't take my yield comment the wrong way. I wasn't complaining, just trying to figure out if I'm doing something wrong. I've noticed that my plants take way too long to veg. I think most of you all can grow the same size plant in 1/2 the time. I'm wondering if I have some bugs in my soil or pH issues slowing things down. thanks again everyone

that defoliating during flower, be careful, I have to do it sometimes too, but I notice it def shocks or slows the plant not quite a week to get back goin. JME. And Ive had never quite recover a couple times. Prolly strain dependent. But some plants shake it right off and others seem to be quite shocked for a day or two.

If you’re in soil and comparing your growth rate to others that are in hydro, don’t!

I’m in soil, and sometimes I’ll see someone in hydro post “this plant is two weeks old” and it’s way bigger than mine at a month, I’m all like WTF?

I will try hydro one day, but soil frees up a lot of your time commitment.

If you don’t water everytime until runoff, ( I’m water only no nutes so I don’t worry about salts, Been using same soil for 5-6 flower cycles now). But if you water with a small amount of water and more frequently soil plants can and will grow fast as well.

BE THE BALL
Tried a lower nugg of the dubstep last night and it was remarkably smooth for being so green.
Got a pretty good buzz off it, I'll reserve smoke report until it cures a bit...but definitely got some piney tastes, zero fuel tastes ....at least for now.
I mighta woke up still stoned.

Enter the next HBeans contestant........ Purple punch. C'mon down!

PP got a bit leggy on me and I up potted to the 1 gallon to place the stem deeper. Looking good now and looking forward to this one.

Don’t defoliate, If you are going to defoliate do it by week three of flower. The whole “take the fan leaves out because the buds need the light” is controversial statement. Leaves are what make foods for those buds, leaves are the solar panel for the plant they are what absorb the light you are giving the plants

You can also supercrop the fans to get them out of the way. That way they still make food for the plant
Yea I just tuck the fans that are blocking too much of the lower stuff. You can tuck them in a position where they still receive light and that way you don’t shock the plant at all. I remove some fans on plants that are way too bushy as a way to try and promote airflow and deter pm but tucking is the way to go IMO

I just take 1 fan leaf at a time to get light to the lowers and havnt noticed any shock or issues., people go crazy and remove too much too fast and forget the fucking plant has 8-12 weeks in flower and there is plenty of time to defoliate .

That’s one way to do it too. One leaf at a time isn’t gonna stress the plant out too much at all. Yea you see people take off half the fans at once and the plant looks all sad and bare bones I just shake my head lol

Yeah I agree to not take defoliating to an extreme, I was ‘liking’ more of the other parts of BT’s comment. I might cut off a couple fan leaves out of the center of my plants, and then only if they can’t be tucked away or underneath.

That's bad ass. The alien and gmo seeds are easy to tell. Those look like sundae driver seeds.

On another note I'm doing a rdwc experiment un breeder related and have these. Blue dream, gg4, gelato 33, triangle kush, bio diesel, Sunset sherbert.
I wanna seed them up so bad but cant decide what to reverse to hit em with. I suggested the male but gu said naw. Maybe I'll reverse the blue dream and make some seeds to give away for potm contest

I bet reversing the Blue Dream and hitting the lower-yielding crosses may pass along a yield bump. Blue Dream is always a big yielder.

I've never shook my head while i look at the girls till now.I had to dedicate a whole 6 x 4 tent to 4 heisen wedding dubs. They outgrew cuts that were the same height when put in final pots.Only a week into 12/12 and they are a foot from the cmh's,beasts💪i tell you.I couldn't get a proper pic,as i cant back up far enough😆more than impressed so far.I'm a fan of leaf stripping,1st strip is always at 3 weeks blo20191013_134242.jpgom,yours got a pre flower strip 😏🙏

I'm with you on this, I never do defoliation unless absolutely needed. The big fan leaves are producing and storing food for the whole plant so all leaves are useful.

It's when too many leaves are causing lack of air flow that I start chopping leaves.

I use the weak analogy of "would you run faster if you chopped an arm off?" I know it's a bit different with plants but kinda works though, lol.
