Thanks bro! I find the smoke is a bit smoother and better all around when I fade em. I’ll explain my way here in case anyone is interested.
I Never put plain tap water in once and she’s never seen a ph product besides potassium silicate once which jacks up ph. Got a general organics bompton bloom bottle I use as ph down essentially. (Megacrip alone only gets me down to 7.1 at full feed)
150 ppms of that takes me down to 7ph. that or 250ppm @6.5ph is what I “flush” with. Flushing for me is a little extra runoff over the course of several wet/dry cycles. On average I get runoff down to 350-400 ppm and then let her dry up real good and die basically.

here’s another cute little anecdote in rrregardz to how tuned out to politics some Canadians are (especially when you live in the middle of nowhere and no one even tries to get your vote)
Was at at work the other day and my co worker said “hey who won the election?”
I replied with “there was an election?”
another co worker pops into the conversation. “Oh that was yesterday?” We had a good laugh and ate some pizza.
“Oh I guess I should google it.. oh ok Trudy won but only minority. I’ll take it. At least no one can do/change anything without the opposition diving in their ass in a minority government. Fair enough” I closed the googler and we never spoke of the matter again.

Always interested Unc, I am always down for tips and tricks.
I am using a three part nute that comes complete with training wheels. The chart tells me what to feed and when. It gets me by ok.
On this round I am growing three unknown plants, and no one to hold my hand with dates, and times.
I need to learn to learn the cues.
Right around when it stopped busting white hairs, I noticed the fatty Indica ( that I think will finish first) stopped praying, and acted like it was waterlogged with my intensifying feeds. I gave it a half feeds for a couple weeks- into week 7.
Now I am indecisive.
Really, if I count from the first night of 12 dark, and the next guy "announces" flowering @ the appearance of buds - that is plus/minus 4 weeks anyhow.
I need the vision.
Is there a benchmark, or occasion, that would tell you when to drive it down ?
I am sure that you have bought seeds that came without instructions before ,,,what are you looking for?
Can specify any particular event -that would spur the final acts you mention ?
I really enjoy seeing a plant returning to the earth. I just want to map the course ahead of time.

Theres no way to know for sure when running something you haven’t grown before. Generally tho, from what I’ve found, that last time you want to giver, intead back off lol. But don’t kill it off early either by giving it nothing. Just cause it’s stacking and ripening don’t necessarily mean you gotta stomp the gas.. especially in dirt. it does seem natural to us but plants don’t think like us. They most likely don’t think at all.

Thanks brother. Havin fun. Germed 8 heisen basterds last night. Should be fun. Dropped off my latest pollen stud at a friends house till he gets his rocks off. Been working full time and slacking a wee bit on the growing. Well not that much I guess but some days it almost seems not too dissimilar to work. Gonna giver hard this winter and then downsize to a 3x3 and a 2x3 chamber come summer. I’m finding myself losing the desire to grow more than just for my smoke.

Insructions are what is keeping evebody safe when I am left unsupervised.
After years of farting around with aquariums, I can look @ a crayon schematic and tell you if it will work. Over the years I have attained that skill.
My old man can hear a car shift out of park from a block away , and tell you which carb screws need adjusting.
I have had some success, but; I am only about a year into fulltime growing, I find it like learning a second language.
I joined an online when I was flowering my very first run. Uncle Rom was on that forum, and by coincidence he had started a flower run at the same time. I peppered him with questions, and he helped to guide me through that scary time.
I am here reading and learning, everyday. First you start to recognise words, then ideas and sentences. It takes some time before before you will ever begin to respond in kind.
I see it with my kids, sometimes I speak to them in English, I see them translating it in their minds and then respond in English agian. One day you hear it in one language, and mentally process it in another.
They dream in french, while I still struggle to interpet plants - what the plants are telling me. I cherrypick what I recognize in the tone , the cadence, and vocabulary. This cues me how to respond.
You guys know what the plants are saying, I have developed lazy coping skills; waiting for the translation and asking for clarification.
I get these bright ideas and I need peer reviewed guidance. I present my ideas in English ,,,and ask for a translation in "cannabis"
