Hi !
I am 82 today.
20200115_023424.jpg
It seems like the first three week of flowering didn't count.
This Squat #2 Didn't show sex, and did not set bud for weeks after flip.
In the mean time Squat#1 continued to veg 24-7 and was the first of the two to reveal sex.
When put into flower, it hooked in, and set bud immediately. The plants appear identical in structure today, despite the differential in flowering time.
I have also a clone of Squat #2 put into flower on Friday, I was bracing myself for the long-haul, however, there was no lag what so ever. It is cruising along already.

Seed of ill gotten gain.
Remember this ?
20191202_110014.jpg
I know nothing about seed production I removed it from the grinder and I put it into paper towel.
Who knew ?
There were 7 potential moms in there, and the pollen had to chose that Dogsbreath runt ?
I get one seed from a room full of plants, and it just had to be that one ?
C'mon !

I will stop complaining and try to focus on the bright side. The mother 'dog's breath' only has two things going for it
  1. Potency
  2. Branching
It finishes in 65 days and clones well.

I already hate the father and we have had a long and arduous history.
Over the course of the last two years I have burned up a 12-pack of these things. It was the first seed I ever planted and came up male. On my second run I planted three, and they all came up mle. This seed nearly ruined me for growing. I was four months in and still had never flipped a plant.
I switched to another group of seeds and began flowering, harvesting, and smoking.
After a couple runs, I tried three more ,,,and they all came up male.
Later on,down the road, I planted the last of the seeds- cloned it, and sure enough it came up male. I tossed it,and decided to forget all about it.
What I did not realize is that an unlabeled clone had snuck into the flower room.
One seed in 20 plants ! Errr, 19.
I cannot get away from that damned thing!

Like a lovely strawberry plant.
This is the last photo I have of it. Was looking nice- came up male.
It was this one, or the 'top' clone of this one that produced the pollen
20190810_172649_HDR.jpg
I will not post a picture of the mother here because it is a scraggle headed muffin muncher and I've never taken a fine photo of it.

Who knew ?
That sprout took, and I now have a plant I can call my very own.

Picked up me bugs !

Amblyseius Breeding System
Amblyseius Cucumeris.
Handy for thrip.
I did some reading and apparently these things will not hatch or breed below 65% relative humidity. My flower room is less than half of that lately , as such I have built incubators with Bovedas' .

I do not know how well these travel, (freeze?)
I have PILES, if anyone is in need, hit me up.
If they cannot be mailed : we are kind of screwed as I live in the middle of nowhere.
You may also live in the middle of nowhere. But that still won't work as it is very unlikely that we both live in the middle of the SAME nowhere.

I am succumbing to the peer pressure of generosity around here, it would cost me all of $1 and 3 minutes. I would be happy to mail some out.

2Stroke Tangie ( squat #2) came down last night.
86'd her on day 87.
This is Squat #1 @ 65 days

They were left completely unmolested and due to that wide-open structure, and a couple of street lights,,,- there is absolutely no larf on this thing.
Every bud Mandarine sized, and dense as a politician.

Refill more tonight. Show starts @ 11.

I am just giddy in that flower room.
This is shaping up to be the biggest haul yet !
I love a good flip and these things hooked in and set bud immediately.
These are all after nine or ten darks, and I already have real life bud, bigger than my pinky nails.

I cannot adequately convey my elation. It is a frik'n Field of Dreams up in there.
(Extra points if you spotted the Albertan reference )

Excitement in a pot.
This thing loads up @THT , it is a winner.
I have dried it to a crisp, drown it, froze it, and all manner of bad things. It resisted the aphids and mites that decimated other strains. It loves nutes, sunny days, loud music and hooting it up until the Robins chirp.
20200121_010527.jpg
Like any beautiful creature, she can catch your attention from across the room. I was trimming some of this up last night. It sounded like I was dropping Clementines into a bucket. So uniform, so delicious.
One difference I did notice was the strength of the limbs. I tend to toss pots around and these plants stay very supple and floppy. That combined with the fact that the branches are 4 feet long,,,they are a 'hands off plant' for me. Perhaps that is typical of the ancestry- I have no experience there. I can snap a branch between a couple fingers

Gonna have to post up some msds's.
Smells like cleaner and fuel in here.

The first one was sooo slow, I nearly mailed it back. It set slow and also got only mid-late CO2 in flower.
This next one (squat #1) has had CO2 since flip. It set fast, and built everyday since. I have high(?) hopes this will be done in a couple weeks. Yield is obviously higher on this one.
I finally got the nodes I was waiting for on the Tangies clones, I have 2 more, good-to-go, in the hobbit hole. Need to clear out the rest of the veg room.
Alaska purple, White Widow seed.
Cheese, gg Zilla, Fruity Jack, Guayita, Dogrunt and Tangie clones ready to go.
I need to empty that room.
QC is working through the first of the Tangie batch now.
"It's the shit" says she. All the smoke report I need.
She like her weed to b'real orange.
It is as dry as a popcorn fart around here and I am going to keep stuffing that floweroom until their little faces squish against the wall.
