Some nutes can stain the roots. Molasses (a good amount in Megacrop), GH Flora Micro (maroon bottle). If you're running tap then it might be what your water is being treated with. Guy I knew when I was a kid used to live in a city with highly fluoridated municipal water. Stained his front teeth like a 30 year cig smoker, no reason why it couldn't stain roots either.

advanced nutrients does that bad. MegaCrop tints mine deep in flower with the addition of bud explosion. In veg they stay white. I should've added that the brown stuff washes off and the roots are white/off-white underneath. Fucked about your friend tho they ever fix it?

Waited for reveg. Lower revegged faster then the flowering tops. Cut them all off down to the clean reveg. Better fit for the tent. I'm not feeling have different height plants ina tent.
