It took some getting used to, but I have this down now. Not much paper overlap. If you roll the paper around the cone first and seal it, then remove it it's easy. Twist the tip around the roller after wards, then jam it into the cone. If you twist it the opposite direction from the paper it won't hang up when you twist it in.
I bought a 50-pack of each, so the cost (and having to buy papers for a while) isn't a worry
