Blueberry Biscuit is starting to show a few brown pistils. Everything is cruising. The two G13xHP are flipped, and I wasn't keeping a ~250w tent going for 4 seeds

Test run for the seed-shelf-thing.

The tall-closet. GMO Cake is still heavy so probably repotting tomorrow with the DCP.

You ever think about growing bigger plants?
I've done big plants, and I did a flower-clone project that filled a room.

I have gallons of buds and stuff. I just want variety, and have a but-load of seeds I collected to run. I want to try them all yesterday so this was one reg seed of each and I'm running every one that was a girl. The small plants is a necessity. Aside from the Blueberry Freeze crosses I am testing I dropped 11 seeds and only had 3 males culled. The two G13xHP I just flipped aren't on that list :)

Since I need the room, I'm guessing both G13HP will be girls as well. I have yet to cull a female, like - ever. But I have almost full packs of each strain. If they are both girls one is gone.

The DCP might not be a great representation of the strain, so it may go away and I'll try again later regardless of sex. I think it'll stay in a one gallon for the next week or so and I'll keep it if both the others are male.

Makes sense. Growing bigger plants is more challenging and obviously more work but more rewarding at the end IMO. I give a lot away too, so that is also a large part of the reward.
I give away some, but nothing compared to what I produce.

I wouldn't say bigger plants is harder - maybe if you have to get creative with the bud-support stuff - but it damn sure takes longer, needs bigger pots and uses a lot more water. I'm kind of liking the 3-gallon pots as a happy medium. Letting them get big enough to make good flowers, but not vegging too long so they keep outgrowing the pot.

Flipping 30 days from seed seems to keep even the tall ones manageable for a tent grow. The ones in the closet are the ones that are taller, but they are also probably longer-flowering, and will get bigger pots if they start drinking too quick.

Everything quoted says more difficult to grow. Support is a big one. Water and mixing nutrients is another. Bigger pot more medium more time...

Here is an example of me not managing stretch properly.

7 gallon pots 100% coco hand watered. Total yield is about 1 lb between the two

@mr_c Also, when I started growing I had 20 fem Superskunk seeds. I like it. I have given some away and I still have some left that I may never grow.

I NEVER want to get tired of smoking a strain again. Especially when I don't really know what all is out there yet.

Except for the blueberry testers, everything I have growing I have more seeds of. So a big plant for something like the 4th Gear is in the long term plan for when I run out of something that I really like.

May not have enough light, that's the size I been flipping lately . Mostly being impatient though lol
I have enough light to fill each space. Nothing overpowering, like ~250w in each. But I am keeping the lights higher and will dim them if the plants start showing issues. I think the best smoke comes from the plat that finishes healthiest. I don't want to push limits to get bulk - don't need bulk.

Right now I have a 2x2 tent empty for veg, and can use it for flower if needed. That will handle the 4 seeds that are sprouting, but I can't really drop anything else until stuff gets ripe now.
