Nah these are all untopped. Any height differences could be dealt with supercropping though.Looks nice! I think we all experiment constantly to find what suits us. It's fun to create our own bro-science If it works for me that's science enough! LOL
If you are experimenting with topped and un-topped at the same time beware the height difference after flip.
I appreciate the advice, thank you!Cool - just putting the thought there for you to chew on if you hadn't considered it.
What's the strain?
The extra jug with the cut out lid is genius. Any dangling roots yet?

Nope. Just had to find something disposable laying around to hold the cup and give me a place to tie the plant down. Holes all along the base of the jug top give me 360° access to spots for tie downs. The extra jug with the cut out lid is genius. Any dangling roots yet?
I guess any rules can be stated, but the solo cup challenges I've seen say it must be contained within the solo cup.So I'd like to do a solo cup challenge but I don't know the rules. Can the cup have holes? Can roots go out those holes? What if the solo cup were basically a netpot over a DWC res?
I took my solo cup and dropped them into small clay pots. They fit perfect just make sure it's allowed in the rules. That's a good idea to stabilize it, as they get rather tippsy once they start to pack on weight and height
I've used plastic trays filled with rocks to keep them stable

Those colors, wow! Did it smoke as good as it looks? The last time I ran this strain, one was in a solo.
Solos fit great in the center of a NX Riser tray. I cut a bigger hole in the center for better drainage for feedings.

The other one was in a 3 gallon cloth pot.
