I agree , the descriptions need time, we should have a thread for each cross where we can report some very basic and concise info relating to tastes, smells, height, weight, bud and plant structure. Then it can be decided how many phenos there are and which are the most common.I could write some good stuff but a problem exists that I couldn't overcome. I don't have any of this gear so I couldn't make a proper description.
I believe you want something very close and precise to what it actually smells and tastes like. You will also want:
1) Height
2) Weight
3) Pheno types (leaners in crosses)
4) Photo period
5) Bud shots to show colors
6) etc etc etc
IMO, I think you should wait and let the descriptions roll in. Once people are in agreement about similar phenotypes you can then procede to use those descriptions. Save those packs bro. You know I always tell you to keep em
For instance, if I were to do a write up for my Snow Goji, I would probably do something like this:
Snow Goji:
Snow Goji is a chuck of Mother's Milk female pollen that coated one small bud on a Goji Og late in flower. Two seeds survived from this bud and gave me two very different phenos. This particular pheno grows very tall and has the OG stretch. There is hardly any smell at all until 6 weeks of flower and then you feel like you have entered a rose garden. Very floral. Definitely carries the smell of the original Goji OG but the buds are much bigger and less dense. The density does not effect weight as this cross actually produces more bud than the Goji OG and more weight. Topping will help with yield tremendously.
The taste is so smooth you feel as if nothing is going in your lungs. Floral and vanilla, with a tiny bit of earthy fuel, makes this strain a definite for mornings and during the day. Three to four puffs and you will float away for the first 5 minutes forgetting all about that lit joint in your hand. Then the creativity starts to flow. (I wrote this right after I puffed Snow Goji). No couch lock here. Even tho the high is long lasting you will find yourself reaching for another puff an hour later just to get the creative juices flowing again. The taste and feel will not let you down. It has a very old school taste from the mid seventies. A floral Columbian Gold would be my best description.
This would be a full out desrciption tho. You can always shorten this a bunch and use a smaller version.
Again, I say wait, especially for the crosses. Most of these guys may only be doing a few at a time and you really can't get a good idea from 2 or 3 females. The person most likely to give a better point of view will be someone who does 10 or more of the same thing at once. Once mine get going I'll do a thread devoted to it
From that pool of data the description can be formulated.
Also no other posts in those threads clogging them up with speculation or stuff not related to that strain.
