Been there done that. Got a bachelors degree, wormed 40 as an electrician, made pizzas on weeknights. Its real. Tip your server. If ahes got big tits of course.

My state is starting to take applications for rec licences, was hoping the requirements wouldn't be too bad. Doesn't look like it's gonna be a possibility for me, pretty disappointed. $6000 non refundable application fee (even if you get declined) $8000 annual licence (for 150 plants), plus $100,000 minimum liability insurance which you have to have before you even apply.

Was really hoping there would be a way for small time folks to break into the system, start small and work up, but it looks like you almost have to be rich to even think about it. It's gonna take 4-500 thousand + to even get one of the small plant count licence's. And I bet there is zero banks willing to give small business loans to any type of canna biz.

Legalazation is all about perceived stacks of fat cash that are just in piles waiting to be grabbed from the black market.
Except....they have better product and cheaper prices.
Around here they deliver in 60 minutes (I can google local weed and 4 delivery servies pop up) these are all black market but 4 of them will deliver here at 8 am if i order now.
Hash, oil, buds whatever.

But you know what it is good for....adding law enforcement, regulations, rules, fines.

I had a problem when it went legal and the chief of police became a main person in one of the legal cannabis enterprises. That irks me at a level beyond imagining.

Oh yeah man its ok...i mean you put all those people away for it and all but yeah now its legal.

It is too ridiculous to make up.

Same way in Colorado. However.....all I can say is...IF you can get a license....do it. I dunno if they are gonna be LIMITED like they are here.....but here....if you got a license it exponentially went UP in value the second you procured it. These days....a transferable license that cost someone 25K up front is worth hundreds of thousands of dollars or MORE....without growing ANY weed. You just can't get one/get in/play without it.... It's cash in hand. And you can't legally sell weed without it.

Either way....I'd GEAR UP NOW and make what you can while you can...cus sorry to say....the game is fuckin UP if you get legal weed. Nobody will be lookin anymore.....nobody calls....."it's a free concert from here on out".....kinda like when they tore the fence down @ Woodstock..... nobody is stopping by the ticket window no more... The whole "but if you have TOP SHELF they will still come" is BS. Those folks haven't LIVED through it to know. WalMart isn't there because it's a good store...it's there because they have cheaper shit than other stores and it's all in one place. Same gig for the dispensaries......

But it was fun while it lasted........
