Day 34 & 35. Been a busy few days, phone crapped out, and we've been getting the vegetable starts ready; plenty more to go, but this is the 50 heads of lettuce, 4 spinach, 12 kale, 36 broccoli/cauliflower, 12 basil, 2 celery, and 1 fennel, and 9 mass onion plantings the wife and I got started yesterday.
Ive also been hardening off the Mandalorian males to flower outside in the pop up green house. Overnight temps are in the high 40s, daytime highs in the high 70s, inside it gets too hot zipped up during the day, 90+, I am working on the timing of when to seal it up to help trap warmth overnight. Threw that privacy shade fabric over them the first full day they spent out.
These are the breeder males chosen to self the Anvil line. They were chosen due to their sac / cluster density and the fact that they were showing reddish purple hues on their sac bases early on. They had the most vigorous vertical growth, and were both very uniform in size and structure. This is the morning after their first night out (22hrs after transplant).
Some of the other Anvils that did not make it were these 2 here. One was slightly, but noticably shorter and was the slowest to begin flowering. The reddish purple color also seemed weaker on the sacs, almost non present. The other showed similar vertical vigor and strong branching similar to the chosen 2, but was slower to flower and is showing weaker color. Unsure if I want to flower them out or compost them.
Here are the JEMs selected. They have been the densest flower clusters this whole project, first to show. I have another JEM female in the Radicle Bag that has amazing growth, but in regard to pollen does not compare to what these two gents have going on. The soil for the the 2 pots with the males is recycled reamended Coots that sat for months, cut with some soil from my last indoor grow. We'll see what it does.
Indoor plants for watered last night. The recently up potted Cab and Tent plants were a bit over watered on day 30 and looked as such. The more mature Closet plants looked unaffected. I hit the young plants with 1 qt of Agsil, BAS Coconut, and Ful-Power solution each, the more mature plants got 2qts. Im going to check them tonight and likely water in another 1qt all around. Ill try to shoot some pics tonight.
