Karma Sour Leda

I've got 7 females in a 8x4 tent under dual Spider Farmer SF4000 lights. I vegged them 3 months (a little longer than I would have liked but I was busy with life); seeds popped on Sept 1. Dec 1 the lights got flipped to 12/12. They stretched quite a bit for 2 weeks before they really started their flower phase. So, that means today is about day 28 of flowering.

I loved leda uno by kc years ago, I can only imagine what sour d brings to the table.
Did you prefer the sour dominant phenos or the lemony leda ones?

Round 2 of the Sour Leda. These were all clones taken from first batch of females. They just received some HST / super cropping to fill out canopy a little before the 12/12 switch at the end of the month. Yeah they are a little deficient looking, I wasn't feeding them much for the past few months but they are almost back. My plan with this batch is to do my first manual pollination with the pollen from the 3 males that I have from the original seeds.

Update on the Sour Leda... this is what these sad ass bitches look like now...

They were flipped to flower right when #winter3 hit and stretched out like crazy due to the colder nights.

These things are like inches away from the light and believe it or not, only one bud started to get toasted and that one was under one of the older SF4000 with the linearly spaced leds. The newer model SF4000 decreased led density towards the center to avoid burning and the plants right under that one are totally fine.

Also, I did my first "controlled" pollination today. Marked 2 lower branches on each of the plants and gave the buds a little dusting of fresh pollen that I collected from the males last night.

Even though I turned off my fans I still saw some upward pollen flying around.... Will be interesting to see how many buds end up making seeds.

Man, this Sour Leda has such an interesting aroma. It's like nothing I've gotten from the black market over the years or from dispensaries. I don't know when I actually had Sour D last so when people refer to a "gas" or "diesel" smell I am not sure exactly what they mean. I suppose you could describe it as a slight sulfur smell, but it doesn't smell skunky or like shit. It's a pleasant smell, like when you first light a match, but not quite that strong and distinctive as a match smell. There is clearly other aromatics mixed in. I wish I knew how to describe it.

I have that problem too

I see people describing their weed like, it's got Creamsicle orange nose with Buttery earthy taste and bit of lilac on the exhale.....I always wonder if they make it up or I'm just dumb in the dept.

Smells like weed, bro

Not all weed smells the same to me, but a lot is very similar. The fruity weeds stick out. So does the cheese weed.

Next time you pollinate individual branches...you can cover the branch with a bag that has pollen in it, seal it over the branch and flick it a few times...then soak the rest of the plant with water spray as pollen is inert after being wet or vice versa...put the bag on the bud, wet the whole plant then sprinkle, dab, etc...on the bud intended and the rest of the plant is wet, so you are good.

Been doing a lot of work around the property and riding dirt bikes... as a result, this grow has been highly neglected. Haven't been feeding them, them just watering. The buds started getting heavy and flopping over so added in a scrog net after the fact. It's a giant shit show in this tent but the buds are rock hard, shits fox tailing like crazy, even though the leaves looks like shit the buds are really nice.
