I feel you completely. The nugs that had the visable were soda can sized. Chucked without question. I figured the lowers would be good but they seem to have a lil something going on. Didn't know if this was something like trichomes sticking together and pulling apart or if the strands were indeed mold. Also some dont produce toxins and arent too bad. If I could alchohol extract it then decarb and cook thats b legit. If its junk its junk and I learn and move on a sober man.

2 wed night
2 pcrsh
2 Topanga wed
All seeds look the same size but different rendering much like pinto beans if you have done it you know 😉. The smAllist seeds were the GG#4 s1 but you could see the keen symmetry and genetic compactness just waiting to explode forth ...lol
Covered everything with towels under wife’s glass cake stand
Tomorrow into the coco they go!

There are people out there saying how the tip of a joint burns at a high enough temperature to incinerate all mold and bacteria.
The tip usually burns at around 900°C (1652°F), which is a very high temperature indeed, but by the time smoke enters your mouth and the rest of the respiratory system the temperature is around 50–60°C.
If you truly believe that the temperature achieved by smoking or vaping kills all of the bacteria, here is an excerpt from a study I cited above, that proves otherwise:
“Some may argue that the temperature of inhaled samples (50–60°C) suggests that inhaled smoke may be sterile. However viable organisms have been cultured from smoke even after water filtration, suggesting that temporary exposure to elevated temperatures or attempts at filtration are probably insufficient to protect the compromised host.”
If you aren’t aware that you are allergic to a specific type of mold, you should tread carefully. Mold allergies produce a variety of symptoms: From a slight skin rash, to a full-blown asthma attack.
Here are some of the health issues that can arise if you smoke moldy weed:
  • Fatigue
  • Weakness
  • Headache
  • Chest pain/heartburn
  • Asthmatic attack
  • Dizziness
  • Heavy cough
Even though these symptoms also happen as a general side-effect of smoking in general, if you notice them on a prolonged or unexpected scale, you should get evaluated by a doctor.

Smoking is far out of the question. I was mainly trying to identify the type of mold to see its effects if any when consumed in edibles. Very hard to find anything online with any substance. Especially most forums. Sure most know the deal with that info. Seems to be aspergillus and seems I'm going to be a sober sad man for 4 long months.

Just to double check before everything goes to the waste. When pulling dense sticky buds apart nothing will stick between parts of the plant correct. I imagine this is mold strands stretching when pulled but I want to be safe before I trash all my grass.
Can you give us a pic to see what you are dealing with?
Were're also on page 420.
lol

Yea I'll post one up as soon as I can. It's hard to get a pic cause even under 30x you can barely see it.
Too hard to get a pic. Best description I can give is there are no strands anywhere you can see on the bud. Even in pockets ect and where fans are removed. When pulling the dense bud apart some areas will have very very thin translucent strands going from one part to the next as you stretch them apart. Everything is symmetrical meaning it's from point a to point b from where the bud/leaf etc is touching eachother and looks like resin sticking and stretching out. I'm starting to hope that's what it is but I've never seen anything like it. I never would have been looking so deep if I didn't spot the little part on the outside of the obs.

So boys and girls tragedy has struck. Pretty sure most my harvest is trash. Found one small spot of cobweb mold on my obs and bridezilla2 when taking them down. Went through all the large coals didn't see anything else. Went over everything to double check with the loupe and inside even some of the lower nugs there is very fine strands you can see though only a few when pulling buds apart. Pretty sure this is mold though it's pretty much translucent. Kind like getting glue between your fingers and pulling them apart. Cant find it in everything but I feel like id rather play it safe. Any identification or knowledge of mycotoxins. If I can cook this at least some would be saved.
I hope you didn’t toss this and sorry I’m late but it’s trichs sticking and sticky as fuck it pulls I seen it before and grand master grower also points it out on one of his sticky buds mold isn’t transloucent on weed
