Well thank God. I was worried. My girl is pretty heavy but with the nanner situation I'm like fuck. I'm debating just buying another one I can afford to make sure I have coverage then saving up for something really good. Some of those boards are insanely expensive.

I was wondering where the benefit on smooshing your stems comes from. So it is the death defying instincts of the plant. I couldn't understand why i should do it but hell, I'll try anything once.

The netting will be a lot of fun. Weaving the branches around through it until youre left with a Sea Of Green.

That was where I got the thought. I was looking at different techniques and since I'm ordering a 2nd tent, I'll have the space to try it.

It's just so damn relaxing getting lost in the plants.

I gotta be honest, I had no idea how relaxing this could be. After a 12 hour work day i have no problem playing with the plants for 2 hours. I'm actually about to go water and check on them now. And I'll spend hours doing it.

I ran 3 Vipar r300 in a 2x4. Around 7 ounces from 4 plants. It was truly like 225 watts total. 75 trust watts compares to the advertised 3. I'll look into shipping my vipars. Funds are ridiculously tight right now(tryna lease my place again?) but who knows I may be able to finagle something.

if it were me and my first time setting up another tent. Id dedicate one of my more vigorous good seed to it, just one and plan a 8-12 week veg just weaving it into the net and flip it all at once. It would look like @Big Perm tents but I'm not too sure of his veg times. I'm pretty sure he goes 10/14 from the rip on them monsters.

That is what I'm running. Not 3 of them. I've got 1 in my flower tent and it seems to work rather well. Mind you, it is one plant. If you want to sell them let me know. As I said, I'm on a budget so i can't offer much. You sublet? My area is so short on rental properties it is insane. It is why I drive an hour to work. For the same price I get twice the space. And a nicer neighborhood.

Update for the evening. Or morning. Did a bit more trimming. Specifically pulling off the twisted and smooth growth. I'm really hoping that a few of these are female. They are developing quite a few cola sites. My widow is a bit under the weather but she is a thirsty bitch man.

Also, my mini hydrometers came in. They seem to be pretty close to each other. I'm going to test them next to my 2 accu-rite ones.

Update for the evening. Or morning. Did a bit more trimming. Specifically pulling off the twisted and smooth growth. I'm really hoping that a few of these are female. They are developing quite a few cola sites. My widow is a bit under the weather but she is a thirsty bitch man.

Also, my mini hydrometers came in. They seem to be pretty close to each other. I'm going to test them next to my 2 accu-rite ones.

Cool trick learned from @Capt C to check hygrometer accuracy - wrap hygrometers in a moist towel and put in a ziploc for an hour. They should read 99% and if not they're bad.

Lights - depending on your price range, 315W CMH may be a good option for you if you're not finding a decent LED that will work for you. Out of all the light types, CMH has something special about it. Could be the UV but I have a feeling it's more than that. Even with me transitioning more of my lights to LED I still intend to keep CMH at least somewhere in my grow spaces. Rock hard buds with a unique heavy "fuzzy" trichome coverage. There are lower end kits out there for under $200 including bulb which lasts 20,000 hours with only slight loss in efficacy. They also run a lot cooler than HPS, but not quite as cool as LED.

Blurples suck in comparison to Quantum Boards but they are not useless. The biggest thing with Blurples is you must defoliate and lollipop your plants. A lot of people have used blurples on their first grow and new growers tend to harvest early, i know bc i was one of em, and then they end up with a pitiful harvest and blame the light.

A lot of people on here seem to be anti alibaba because it’s China but I have a 135w from HLG and then month later learned about Alibaba and ordered a 240w QB (same as 260w HLG) with the same exact diodes and driver. They look exactly the same. I ran the Alibaba QB at 120 watts in my 3x3, before i had my watt reader, and pulled 6 ounces. If you have or save up $150 this truly your best bang for your buck. Only difference is you have to talk to sellers but it’s easy; just be very direct on which light you want.

I know it is probably not a popular opinion but my blurple is not doing that bad. Neither of them are really. It just isn't enough coverage. The light thing has been the biggest issue out of this whole project for me. @spyralout thanks man. I'll try that tonight. And @sandman83 I'm not sure anyone thinks of stoners as insomniacs as we should be couch zombies right? We should be studied. Lol. I got on witcher 3 and zoned out until a couple of hours ago. Then finally crashed.
