Took down the east coast sour diesel bag seed plant. It started throwing out my some bananas so I gave her the chop. Have to frame in two more 5x5 areas then I have to tackle the electric. Let’s see if I can keep the place from burning to the ground. I plan on using 1 line to power each 5x5 area unless I don’t have enough breaker space in my breaker box. if not, I’ll run 1 line to cover two 5x5 areas. And another to power another two 5x5 areas. since they will be flower rooms I’ll have them on 11/13 with timers on opposite times from each other so one light is on while the other light is off getting away with only using one line Incase I run out of space for breakers in my breaker box if I have to. 16DFE7F6-63A8-4FE2-9E76-667E32BAB068.jpegA02C9EA4-2AC1-4C9B-9646-2C48A3E2C266.png

As long as you don't have a room on the left side that loses space, you'll have more room for tops in that spac e :)
I’m not sure if I understand you. but the two yellow squares will each be 5x5 areas and the red area is where I can add more if I want to expand. But basically I also have the whole other side of the basement too, so there is plenty of room. I’m planing on having each side roll up (I marked with white) and roll down and stay in place with sticky magnets and panda film. I hate the zippers that break all the time. This way easy access for watering pruning etc

Red line would be vertical. Yellow arc shows angle towards left - outside of room. More room inside.
All good unless you put a room on the left because it will be angled in and have less room.

Easy fix would be to measure the bottom from that right (straight?) side, then mark that measurement in the overhead and move the left board to that mark.

The way you measure for square is on the diagonals.

When both diagonal measurements are the same, your square or rectangle will have four 90 degree corners.
But that just gets your box square. I was talking about fixing the uprights if he cares. Lots of factors though. Like if it's easy to move the tops of the boards. If it's a few screws that's one thing. If you're torching holes in I-beams and stuff then it ain't worth it.

I guess it matters more for aesthetics than anything else, unless you are putting rooms side by side.

A little time spent now squaring those walls up is going to save you a lot of grief down the road. Because everything will fit better. Square is a universal thing.
I agree.
For light leaks sake. A 2 ft level from harbor freight for 5$ might help.
I swore to not be critical.
Kev doesnt have time or desire to make shit look pretty. But by having opposing times on lights itd be best to help have it somewhat plumb.

If it is not attached to the floor you can just make sure the top and bottom are the same distance apart. Levelling will be a pocket level and a hammer tap one way ir the other to let gravity do it's thing.

If it is permanently mounted to the floor you'll definitely need a larger level - and maybe do it before burning one :)
