I have a new 100x10 foot roll and some left from my last 100 foot roll too

OK - the reason I asked is that if your rooms were wider at the top it wouldn't matter.

If you wrap it horizontally and fasten it at the top, it would dangle loose at the bottom. You could take in that extra and secure it without cutting anything. After it's fastened to everything then cut out for your door.

I was going to have each side roll up like this and stay in place by magnets when closed

I will Probabaly put sticky magnet tape here and put extra flap over the top for light leaks if necessary
