I can run 8 3 gallon pots in my tent. I imagine I could fit at least 24 1 gallons. It’s a 2 x 4 tent.
Can you recommend any good reading on breeding? Specifically about picking the Moms and Dads? Or would it just be Dad?

I’m flowering out everything i have here soon and ending the perpetual madness. Going to do rounds so it’s more organized and less crazy. I’m willing to focus on your gear almost exclusively.btw these blackwater x NG s are absolutely ferocious. I transplanted em maybe a week ago and they have sucked the pot dry several times.
They refuse me training, practically slapping my hand away. I broke this one over aggressively before lights out and by lights on it was standing staight up defiantly. These are some baaad bitches. Shit better flip em asap

One pack should do fine then. I would only add more if you were going to do open pollination with no selection.
If you are going to F2 then you can either do some selection or not. It really varies for me but a lot of what goes into breeding is stupidly time-consuming, especially torture testing males. You probably would not believe me if I told you all of the things that I do to these poor male plants. Light, nutes, knock them over (and leave them) bend them in half, soak in water, temps, you name it.
I have a Grapefruit male now that made it all the way up to the final step, re-vegetation. Months of testing and it failed because it has autoflowering tendencies. I pull all of the balls off and they just grow back under 24 hours of light. It gets thrown away tomorrow. It is a shame because it is a pretty plant.

I do have some Nigerian Sunshine x Granny Skunk seeds for sure. I used both #1 and #2 NS moms and two males, one that sets flowers fast and one that sets them slow. I did this to test the dominance of flowering times the males pass on. I still have both of those males too.You know I’m down for whatever if you’ll have me

now that it has cured a little bit the flavors are very unique I think very old school
atleast from when I was younger be willing to send some cash for some black water x Nigerian sushine
seeds if possible I didn't get any males out of mine

I can double check but I know their really were not many to begin with. If any of you got these don't sleep on popping them open.
I promise to make more Blackwater crosses but refuse to do so until I run it through tissue culture. She's old and I want to make sure that she's clean. It honestly may explain why it's so hard to pollinate and reverse.

i got 3 hybreds black water Nigerian sunshine#4 x black mamba female reversed
i put 4 in a paper towel 3 of 4 in 2 days not bad poped right up out of dirt
i wish i cloned #1 and #4 i would of tried to make s1's if i had a male i would have had a bunch
of f2's the only plant that produced little amount was #2 the 8wk leaner i have about 26 female seeds off of her
and she was a small yielder but the others over 1oz easy a plant that's not bad for how short they are
and premo smoke i smoke her atleast once a day i am going to post some dry bud pics at some point
this shit is frosty as hell i think i am going to order one of those micro scopes and get some cool photo shots

The lighting didn’t turn out great. The other test plants will be coming rapid fire for a bit so I’ll be able to practice and get better photos each time lol.

What a nice plant that was to grow. Didn’t have any issues really. She took whatever I gave her and said thanks. She didn’t even mind the tiny little pot she was crammed into. I fed her fairly aggressively (for me) early and mid flower then fed her very little last 2 weeks. (500-350ppm) she teased me being almost ready for a time like any sassy sativa worth her salt should and could have gone another week.. but I’m too horned up to get it dry so I can smoke it

My apologies in advance for the beard hairs.. my screens small on my phone and I ain’t seen any.. but I know they are there.. I might need to shave.. they are always there. I guess it’s my thing now tho. It would be weird to see me post a picture without one of my signature beard hairs. My followers would feel ripped off I bet

I'm jumping in on the journal here. Picked up my seeds and decided to start with the Granny Skunk crosses. Good looking seeds by the way. Dark and tiger striped. Put 6 in a cup of water for tonight. Putting them in paper towels tomorrow morning after a good 14 or 15 hour soak in warm water. Rest are in the fridge until I figure out my germination rates on the first 6. Thank you @SCJedi for allowing me to test these.

Bodega x Nigerian (1) drying
It’s smells like slightly expired banana yogurt that someone spilled kerosene (that they stirred sugar into) into that. Strangest I’ve ever put my nose too. I can’t even guess how flavour will morph as it further dries and cures. Will be taking some to smoke with some tester buddies to get their opinion later
the rest vary between sweet and dank. I’m not great at describing the smells at this point. Way too many smells assaulting me in the grow room. I’ll be more specific later

@Uncle Romulus these all look spectacular. I still have a bunch of these if anyone is interested.
Last night I also considered selling clones of what I have been crossing with, primarily my two Nigerian Sunshine phenos, but also anything I hunt.
If I do I will post them in this thread and the xfer can take place off-forum.
I have tissue culture supplies waiting at home (I'm in Kaua'i atm). Happy to get TC clones going too so you know they are clean.
First to go into test tubes when I return is the Blackwater
